If the day before a vacation is a vacation and, in the case of two days off or more in a row, the day before the day before a vacation is a vacation, then the afternoon after a morning of meetings and before the day before the day before a vacation is as good a time as any to open up the request line.

Oh, yes.

To be fair to the Americans when they're not being written by spiteful Brits, I think she'd fit right in to the existing intelligence section in Atlantis, which already has a degree of freedom from bureaucracy (and the proportionate rise in competency) that comes from being far away from home. :)
