Found some pipes.

[The recording shot showing how; a wall torn down except for a few crossbeams revealing the inner workings of an abandoned building. Heine wasn't in the shot, his voice the only thing carried. Finding a few things had been given to as a task to ease his idled mind. So he had set off to search and eventually retrieve somehow, the ( Read more... )

[Very vaguely, Lenalee recognizes Heine's voice from the few instances she's checked over the other feeds in the network. And this feed in particular is just vague enough to spark her interest-- a weary kind of interest, more automatic than anything, but interest all the same.] Pipes for... what?

Irrigation I've heard. [Information was typically vague when it came to Heine. If a few words could do it, then that was what he would use. No one needed to know why the pipes were important, just that they were. Unfortunately this elliptic pattern of speaking confused those around him unless they happen to be on at the same square.]

[She's actually rather well-adjusted to vague answers, having grown up with Kanda and all, but what she isn't used to is interpreting them when they come from other people, in situations like this. Lenalee is most definitely not on the same page.] And what are you planning on ripping them out for?

[A makeshift weapon is the first thing that comes to mind.]

Pipes were needed and didn't look like anyone was using them. [Far as he knew there was only a handful of people living in the ghost town and all of them were living in one play. People were coming in more to, the small kid and frightened woman coming to mind. Still no one he knew from home had come and he suspected that it would remain that way until he left.]

Can't water gardens without pipes. [The logic seemed pretty sound for a city risen boy. Weapons were in not short supply by a stroke of luck, his two pistols dragged along for the ride. The only problem was the limit of ammo to which he had yet to see anymore.]

I HAVE A FEW THINGS THAT MIGHT BE USEABLE.
BUT, HOW STRONG IS THE SEAL ON THE PIPE SECTIONS?
IT COULD POSSIBLY BE REMOVED IF THERE'S NO WATER RUNNING THROUGH THOSE AT THIS MOMENT.

[The text function was given a once over and quickly found to be too time consuming for him to bother with. Instead he switches to audio for an easier and more importantly to Heine quicker route to communicate.]

No idea, didn't test. [He could pull them out without a hitch, but the problem remained that the pipes needed to be in one piece and not bent to hell and snapped in two. For once attacking head on wasn't an answer]

Someone thought it was a good idea to tight nut these damn things.

HM.
I HAVE SOME SHARP BLADES WE COULD TEST IT WITH.
AND THERE SHOULD BE SOME TOOLS OR SOMETHING THAT COULD LOOSEN THE PIPES ENOUGH WITHOUT HARMING THEM.

Still looking into finding some. [Tearing down walls was more stress relieving than searching high and low for small tools.]

Blades may, but you'd need to seal them again. All a matter of not damaging the pipes too much.

[He was still out of the frame for the moment, but his voice was picked up fine.]

For the garden I heard. Needs water.

Oh, really? That'd be so much easier than carrying buckets.

Wherever did you find the pipes?

Tore down a wall in some kitchen. Isn't like people are using it.

That all? [Dry and uncaring was how Heine sounded.]

[Allen's voice is a little distant when he picks up, like the PDA's near his person, but he's not actually talking into it. There are also the sounds of someone moving around, almost like they're getting ready to go out.]

I'll bring that and a wrench if you think it'll help. Where are you? Any landmarks I should look for?

Not far from the river. Building has a bit of yellow on it. [The outside looked to be a bit better in shape than most of the derelict filled structures, one of the reasons he bothered looking inside. Other than his voice, nothing else was coming over Heine's PDA for the moment.]

That would help. [Far more than just tearing them out.] So this is for the garden huh?

Ah, I think I know which building you're referring to. I'll be there in― Come on Tim, we're going― A couple minutes with the shovel and the wrench, if you don't mind waiting.

[Right on cue, there's the sound of a door shutting in the background.]

And yes, it's for the water system.
