i'm interested in drinking more tea particularly with this whole LETS NOT SMOKE ANYMORE thing. i enjoy a nice cup of tea at a sushi restaurant, but the question is? what kind of tea do i seek out for private moments with my tv? i don't see myself celestial seasonings or liptoning??

I recommend a good breakfast tea, Yorkshire Gold or Barrys. I'm not sure what level of involvement you're looking for, but I recommend going with loose tea and an infuser ball to get the full experience. It's not that much more work than a tea bag and it a) creates less waste and b) costs less.

As for other "private moments" aside from waking up, a nice Earl Grey (black with bergamot, but less caffeine than a breakfast tea) or Lapsang Souchong (smoky taste, very relaxing), perhaps from Taylors of Harrogate, would work nicely. I'm also a big fan of Kusmi Tea -- many different blends and all delicious, but they're fairly expensive.

As for totally non-caffeinated teas for enjoying in the evening, I really like the Organic Mint Melange from Trader Joe's, and just about any rooibos tea is nice for after dinner.
