By the way the pic of the girls in kimono - that's a special type called hakama that they wear for graduation. They are holding some document they received for graduation.
Thank you. Phil did mutter something about them going to the shrine to offer thanks for a successful graduation, but I just took the pic because the outfits were so pretty. I can't believe that I forgot to take any shots of you during our visit to Nagoya.(I wouldn't have posted without your permission, obviously,)but I felt such a twit when Col. K asked "Did you meet your friend? Where are the shots?" Too busy gabbing and stuffing our faces if truth be told ...
