Hopefully this will all work. *crosses fingers*
Here are my personal ramblings on the trip to Japan-with photos!
Feel free to browse or skip your way through as this journal is mostly for me. The old grey matter, she ain't what she used to be and if I don't record it, I'll forget it. WARNING! Image heavy under the cut.

Love the pics and story! Glad to see you got home safely too.

Wow, the exchange rate is a shocker!

Oh and just a leetle correction - Shinjuku doesn't have bullet trains (shinkansen) and there are over 200 exits *g*

I understand the Ex rate has got worse since I bought my Yen, so yes...
I stand corrected. "200 exits" it's amazing that we only got lost the once then. *g*
And you're quite right again, I remember having to travel to Tokyo station to catch the shinkansen. However in my defence there *are* signs for them in Shinjuku, but to the platforms were the trains go to Tokyo!

Wow, that sounds fantastic! Wonderful pictures and description of the museum, and I think I could spend a couple days just at the Nakano Broadway!

Great pics. I'm so glad you got to go to Japan, what a dream trip. So. Was the american accent just bad or was it done in a smarmy voice that made it cloying? :D

thank you, there will be more!
And the Yank accent was exactly the sort of voice that should have been on TV advertising false eyelashes or similar. "Because you're worth it"
No one should be that happy about where the train stops next.
