Okay I'm going to list the first page I've got of the potential 'first' book of the Heavenly and Deadly (7 sins 7 virtues) Series.  My apologies if this may affend someone but I blame the prompt!  Actually as i write this I might come up with a completely different story now.  XD  Just thought to add this.

Just a bit of commentary through the eyes of a new 'Goddess' )

anime, fiction, notes, story, japan, writing

Well, depends on how in depth you want to get.

Keep in mind that what is popularly understood about religion doesn't always square with the religious texts. Take The Ten Commandments -- there were never Ten Commandments specifically. The movie takes a lot of liberties with history and characters (Moses was quiet and shy, Joshua did most of the speaking). But ask people Bible questions and they will recite things they learned from the movie and clearly not the Bible.

A cursory overview will help, but since you are going to have to make adjustments for the sake of the story anyway, don't go too nuts. You won't need twelve years of study per religion just to tell a good story.

Will do. If I may ask can you help verify things from time to time since none of my family are really devout christians (at least not anymore) nor can they tell me things on a dime. You don't have to help there but as I make things through I might need a swat on the back of my head.

I would be happy to answer any questions I can. Keep in mind, I haven't had any formal training, so there may be significant things I'm missing, but I'll share what I can.

No shame in enjoying this band, they're one of my favorites. And Ville Valo is one of the most beautiful men in the world. This story concept sounds enticing.
