You know, that sounds interesting. It can certainly succeed where Jumper failed.
I would suggest, however, that you hash out your mythos first (I'm speaking from experience with my work on my short story collection). With all these creatures, some of them may have agendas and seek to use the central character, or she could blunder into something she isn't supposed to (this, I should note, is a great way to break writer's block, since "It was an accident" can help kick start a story).
Hope I'm not being nosy, just hoping I'm encouraging.
Heh, if this is nosy you should see what I do. Seriously though, I appreciate this piece of advice. In regards to the mythology in the first er... story I only have a few realms (beside 'Earth' there's Diangi which is more Asian influenced and Evia the main fae realm) thought out and the main deities carry a theme throughout the storyline(s). Creator, Balancer, and Destroyer are I guess born as certain beings and as far as I got they slowly 'awaken' by coming in contact with another. This is just an idea (and I have no idea if Cassandra would be one though I doubt it) so I don't know. I'm giving different names, personalities, and descriptions to a few little known mythical creatures
