Not content with a new clothes dryer, I began looking at new mattresses. Just because the old one was ****teen years old (let's just say it's getting to the end of the teens, and a 20yo mattress can never be a good mattress

We sleep on the mattress that 10B bought secondhand before we started going out together.

We started going out together in 1988.

I think we might need a new one.

They have this groovy spring system now, where you can't feel the other person tossing and turning. Even lying on it at the bed showroom, I was impressed that it actually works. Doesn't stop snuggling, just that involuntary, if you don't stop wriggling and wiggling, and tossing and turning, I'm going to use the Tontine Treatment on you!

I knew I needed a new mattress when I went away to a B&B, and for the first time ever, found myself thinking, "hey this is more comfortable than my little bed at home!"
