Zabuza was rather intrigued by the invitation, truthfully. Aizen was a strange sort of man, though, so he really had no idea what to expect as he knocked once on the door (as previously instructed), and waited for a beat before he pushed the door open.

He had a feeling that Aizen had been having someone follow him around- he wasn't stupid or daft, just... out of practice. But perhaps it was better that way, or he might have roughed the private detective up.

"Thank you for the invitation, sir."

The invitation was probably not something most people in Aizen's position would be comfortable with, but he was a little different. So Zabuza was 'assigned' to him, and so he had no idea if the guy would even like or respect him. Still, it was a matter of manners, and Aizen had them.

Once Zabuza came inside, Aizen stood up and nodded, holding out a hand for him to shake. He was slightly pleased Zabuza hadn't roughed up the detective considering how expensive that bugger was to hire.

"You're welcome, I figured it was long overdue. So, what are you in the mood for?"

Zabuza shook Aizen's hand firmly before he took a seat, adjusting his tie as he did so. "I'm not particularly picky, sir." And he wasn't. As long as he could have meat, he didn't much care what was on the plate in front of him.

Nice firm grip, well-dressed...so this was the man who was hired to guard him? At least he didn't look too out of place, which was nice. "Ah, that's good. Well, I know a nice steakhouse down on Fisherman's Wharf, we can either go there or have them deliver. What's your preference?"
