I rather felt like Harry did after the Burning Curse while I read this- the hurt, the pain of it welling up, and finally breaking through when Draco ran away- it moved me to tears. I ache even now, after reading this, having identified with Harry over a number of issues.

I just loved his innocence, and Hermione's theory of his emotional development- great details that really made this story work on all levels.

Emotionally gut-wrenching, but so very good. Thank you for writing this. :) I can't wait to read more in this universe.

Wow. Thank you for such a very moving review. *huggles* I was rather nervous with this piece, but I'm glad it at least reached one reader. ^_^ Thank you for taking the time to let me know how you feel. I cherish your honesty. *hugs*

You shouldn't be nervous- if I hadn't looked through your lj, I would have never known this was your first H/D. I liked it so much, I pimped it to one of my HP-rec lists. :)

And you're welcome. You moved me, and with the sheer amount of slash I read (I'm getting immune to it now) that's a difficult thing to accomplish these days.

Okay. I just spent the better part of this fic crying my eyes out. Because i could understand Harry, and how he wanted desperately for Draco to stay, to love him, and it's just, so *choked whisper* so sad that he couldn't atleast not then.
I know it said drama, and i didn't pay attention really.
Don't take this as i didn't like it. Please, no, in fact the opposite. Because it's got raw and real emotion in it, and i need to read more. It'll bring you to the edge, then retreat back leaving you.. unfulfilled, sort of, and you don't want to rest until you know all of the puzzle pieces.
I'm probably just too emotional. (blames stupid time of the month)
You HAVE to promise me more.
..
Kay, now that i've calmed down. Really. I think i love this fic already. So more, PLEASE!

I PROMISE you more. ^__^ Maybe not immediately, but I am working on it. The dungeon scene with Luna is nearly finished, so you'll at least see that part of the universe soon.

I am so touched that my fic reached out to you; my goal in life, really. Thank you for understanding what I was putting in the story. And thank you for taking the time to read and review; it touches me more than you know.

The sheer intensity of emotion in this piece overwhelmed me! I was reading it on ff.net and there were only two chapters and I couldn't comment about how much I was just feeling the pain and anguish with Harry (which caused me further anguish). However, I found the link to your live journal and I was able to read the third part. My heart shattered to pieces with Harry's when Draco left him in the darkness. Harry is so painfully vulnerable and it went to the heart of him. This is so well-written and drew me so thoroughly I'm not sure I'm even expressing myself well. Harry was well-drawn and I really liked the touches of Luna in life even as she was no longer living. Her comments were well-placed and her presence lasted even after her death. And I would love to read more about Draco as well. Fantastic job!

Thank you for sharing with me your favorite (or most emotional) parts of the story. I was a little nervous about posting because this story reaches into a special spot in my soul, a little bit of me, and I was afraid to show that to people and that my message would not come across.

Thankfully, it was heard.

Luna is my favorite character and when i was playing with this idea, her voice kept coming back to me. In this universe of events, she plays an important role in Draco and Harry's morals, while not being physically present...just a voice of her beliefs and her wills; the person I believe Luna to really be. I'm so happy that she reached out to you.

Thank you for the time for leaving a review; your comments touch me in a way I can never describe.

Wow. This is just amazingly written. I actually felt Harry's pain when Draco ran away. I felt betrayed, as if he'd left me personally.

I hope that you continue to write, b/c it would be a shame for someone with your talent to stop. Really.
