I can certainly understand why you've altered your prices to try to deal with the volume of people purchasing. I remember that you were overwhelmed in 2008 with the amount of orders that came around that time--do you expect this year to be as intense? I hope that this fee structure grants you a little more ease...are the heighened fees to try to counteract shipping from Japan to your home (in the event you can't carry it all on the plane)?
Also, do I count as a regular? *blinks* XD I don't remember which Comiket was my first order. XD I do know I placed a Comiket order last year for sure and a Livret order as well, but I don't remember which Comiket. XD
Lastly, when your CD-ROM does arrive and you have a chance, I would love to hear what IchiUri circles will be there so I can plan my order accordingly! :3
Yeah, I have been finding it increasingly hard to fit all the orders into my luggage. So much so, I had to board the plane with 20kg worth of books in my hand-carry luggage the last 2 Comiket. Especially during the last one, when I actually ran out of space even then and had to resort to shipping part of it home. I absorbed the shipping then because I felt it wouldn't be right to impose additional fees after the orders have been placed. So this year, to lessen my logistics problem, I decided to up the fees to give myself a little buffer in case of such a situation...
And yes, you are considered a regular! XD

but if there isn't any besides those...will you be having other KH doujinshi too just buy freely ((without ordering)) or do you have to order? (Oh gosh I feel like I'm making no sense...)

that's fully understandable -- to be honest, i think it's an amazingly great & efficient (and exhausting) job you do for that little commision and therefore it's fully verified that you might need to up it now and again. especially now that there's something of a financial crisis going on etc.
additionally, if i'm dealing with getting the doujinshi sent to me via EMS (like we discussed) does the 1 USD shipping per item still apply ...? that's for the shipping from japan to singapore, right :). also, is it now time to order from you, or ...?
If you're talking bout that batch of doujinshi that you've already paid shipping for (and I'll be shipping to you soon), then the answer is no, the US$1 handling fee doesn't apply for now. And you're right, the handling fee is to cover shipping from Japan to Singapore. :]

Holy #&$* You carried all those doujins back on a plane to Singapore. >.> There is no weight limit for your luggage? Both times I went to Japan I was over my check-in limit for mangas/doujins just for myself...

There is a weight limit actually (20kg check-in, 7kg hand-carry)... That's why I found myself in a bit of a logistics crisis the last 2 times? :X I didn't really go into detail on why the commission is based on table location, but I guess I'll do it here! XD
Basically, the fees are calculated based on time taken to get the item(s). Aisle tables have shorter queues compared to corner/perimeter tables, hence the cheaper price tag. Queues for circles located around the perimeters of the halls can range from 30-60 minutes, so commission is adjusted accordingly.
