Hi there, I can't remember if you took orders besides doujinshi, but I figured I'd ask. ^.^ I recently bought a Ookiku Furikabutte plate featuring Mihashi from Y!J Auctions and it came to me smashed to pieces, so I am trying to find another one, as well as the clear cup that was released around the same time. These were released a couple years ago though, and I can't find a lot of information about them, not even pictures. I did save the sticker on the outside of the box with the smashed plate, however, if that'll help at all.

Hey dear, I'm actually flying to Japan for my first Comiket this year too! Any tips for noobs like me? XD I don't have any particular circles in mind, so I'm just going to wander around and take a look.
Wow, how exciting for you! XD (I have a lot of fond memories from my 1st Comiket back in the summer of 2005...) Anyways, if you don't have any particular circles in mind and is just there to experience the event, I'd recommend going after 11. (When the crowd eases and you don't have to bake queue in the hot sun to enter the Big Sight) Bring lots of loose change and/or notes to facilitate your shopping. And it'll be a good idea to at least know the general area where the fandoms/genres that you'd like to check out are, since the entire place IS huge. X| And definitely hit the commercial booths since there are usually a fair bit of freebies to be had. :]
How do I find out the general area for my fandoms/genres? Will I have to buy the Comiket catalogue to find out? Can I buy it at Comiket? Is it even recommended, cuz I've heard that the hard copy is kinda heavy. XDDD
Also, I've read somewhere that the fans stuff are usually at the eastern side and the western side houses mainly the commercial booths. Is this correct? If it is, is there a way to go straight to the eastern side or is there only 1 main entrance?

You can get the catalogue at the Big Sight but if you'd like to do some homework before the event, then I'd recommend getting it at the bookstores in advance. And yes, the hard copy is mad heavy (it's the size and weight of a regular telephone directory) but it does come with ready maps etc, so it's easier to map your route. Compared to the CD-ROM version, for which you'll have to print it out yourself.
Both East and West Halls have fandom circles on different days actually. But as far as I can tell, the commercial booths have always been in the West. XD If you arrived early to queue, you'll be routed (by the crowd control folks) to another area to queue, according to where you're headed. But if you arrive once the initial crowd has eased (11-ish), you'll enter via the main (central) entrance.

just wondering whether hoshino lily will be attending ouo .. im never sure what circle name she appears under orzorz, but i think it might be "harenti-cinema"
also she's said so on her site that she was accepted for natsucomi, but if you could double check that "Ssize" (previously known as RS) is attending?
Btw I know that Comike is kind of divided up into days but does like a circle that would normally appear in day one ever stay for more than one day or appear on a day that isn't what they normally appear in? like a bl circle appearing on day 3 or something like that.
Alrighty~ According to her Twitter, Hoshino Lily isn't participating in the original JUNE genre and won't be having any new releases for Summer Comiket. :[ As for Ssize, I'll check that out when my catalogue gets here!
And some circles do attend more than 1 genre, so when that happens, they may appear on another day as well. Sakurai Shushushu does that a lot. :]

Utsumuki Garden (うつむきガーデン) - Attending under another genre, her Bleach book will be at Kaguya and Servile Circus (as you already know). I'm assuming this is new since she mentioned that she will also have 1 of her old Bleach release (Sputnik) at her own space.
