I've made a point of coming back to LJ this year. Maybe it's the sign of a revival! ;)
I have been anxiously awaiting Cat's Paw (to be renamed?), and I hope you'll get back to Peterkin soon too. The greedy murder mystery lover in me wants an entire Peterkin series to sink my teeth into!
(I'm sorry to hear about your mum's dog, that sounds like it must have been pretty rough.)
Have you been working outside of writing? I feel like I lost track of what you've been up to since you moved.
I will admit that seeing your ongoing posts helped, at least in part, to get me to writing here again.
I'm not really doing anything outside of writing. My days consist entirely of sitting in front of the computer telling myself I ought to be working on it. For the most part, I'm perfectly all right with near-solitary confinement (hurrah for being a complacent introvert) but to be perfectly honest ... I do see the charms of maybe getting a change of scenery one of these days.
I miss going to Mass at St Patrick's and having brunch with my usual crowd. Church was always the thing holding my head together when I needed it, y'know? I sometimes wonder if I've actually unravelled a bit more than I think.
