The first Halloween I remember, the village was surrounded by this hedge maze. And there were giant spiders roaming around in it that could poison you. I think people were petrified by the bite. [He shudders. Recalling getting chased by giant spiders was ... terrible.] And the vampires... There was a vampire on the loose, turning other people into vampires.
