Biography:
Togetaro was conceived at the Daycare Center one day, born from two of Jasmine's Togetics. (What she's doing with Togetics as a steel-type trainer I'll never know.) Professor Elm asked Gold to take care of the egg and watch over it. It hatched one night, not long after having received it, while Gold was sleeping. Although he had it with him for only a short time before sending it to Professor Elm to be under his care and study, the egg pokemon proved to be a powerful pokemon despite being a newborn, even taking Silver's Tyranitar.
Two years later, while on Awesome Island, Gold resolves himself to start training Togetaro to become stronger after events arose surround Paul and the Mask of Ice. Day and night he works to train it and become closer to it, until it eventually evolves to Togetic. He was uncertain whether to evolve it to its next stage however, unsure as to what sort of effects it may have on its behaviors. To make matters worse, he unknowingly lost the item he needed to evolve it, a Shiny Stone, to of_the_land in a game of Poker. Thankfully, an encounter from another goldchampion led to the acquisition of a new Shiny Stone. It was his discovery of battlestandby being a traitor, however, that led him to evolve Togetaro to its final stage, Togekiss, after asking healing_yellow to bear witness to his resolve to kick Paul's ass and defeat the Mask of Ice once more.
Since that day, Togetaro has proved to be an exceptionally powerful member of his team, capable of flying at high speeds and shutting down the enemy's attack capabilities completely. However, even though it's matured now, it still maintains that violent nature of its, and still loves to gamble.
