They're Back: An English Encounter (Day 1)
The past few days have been pretty busy. On Monday and Tuesday we had my dad's 50th High School Reunion. And both nights we got home pretty late. I had to watch Madison today from 9:30 to 2:45 and then we left to go pick up Nic (sketty24) at JFK. Originally I was going to drive there but thankfully I changed my mind as the traffic was insane and there were a lot of crazy drivers. Eventually we did get there and had so much time to kill before Nic actually arrived. I was anxious the entire time we had to wait for Nic. We stood waiting there waiting for her to come in for an hour. It's insane how many stupid people go to airports. There were loads of limo drivers there and one of them was picking up James Franco! I never actually saw him come out, but thought it was interesting. A lot of people would go underneath the little barrier and block everyone else from getting out so they could hug someone. When I finally did spot Nic I waited until she was far enough away that I could actually give her a hug without disrupting anyone else. We didn't get home straight away as we wanted to get something to eat. And stayed up until around 12:30!
