Here is another 1_sentence set! Given the size of the Naruto fandom, there are many possible crack pairings, and people don’t usually bat an eye. (Fortunately, the fandom isn’t like Harry Potter with all the strange fetishes…) I’m not usually a fan of crackish pairings, but I think this one is plausible. :)

She knew the type: the tough macho man that always tried to play hero, and she bet he was also the kind of guy that expected to protect the fragile little girl from all big bad dangers.

Looking at the way Lee was enthusiastically chatting with Gaara, she could almost forget that the two were once locked in a fierce battle where one had almost died.

“You don’t think about anything other than training, do you,” she deapanned dryly after hearing about his challenge to a certain bloud loudmouth for a day-long marathon around the perimeter of the Leaf Village.

Temari had watched Lee getting his arm and leg ruthlessly crushed by her sibling, but the fact that he could now run all about without any visible difficulty meant the new Hokage must be one hell of a skilled medical ninja.

His body twirled through the air at blinding speed, cutting straight across the group of enemies in mere seconds - the damage was almost as devastating as her slicing wind blasts.

“I did not know Sand ninjas could fly,” Lee uttered with some awe underlying his voice when the blond kunoichi rode the wind on her fan and finally descended to the ground in a graceful leap.

Somehow, she doubted he would even be affected by cold weather, given the fact that he stayed active on a constantly streaming, seemingly never-ending basis.

At first, it was very irritating, but eventually, she grew used to the notion of Lee enthusiastically dashing about while shouting at the top of his lungs, “The passion of youth is in my blood!!”

Temari was invited to go out and get a drink with a few older Leaf shinobi, and Tenten had to physically restrain her teammate from volunteering to tag along.

He’s still going at it, she mused with a headshake of mild amusement while watching the dedicated shinobi doing a set of intense push-ups under the midnight moonlight.

“Don’t do anything to piss her off, or all of us are gonna kick your ass to the next village,” Kankuro threatened him with a devious grin and a hard slap to the back.

They climbed to the very top of the Leaf Village front gates and she was treated to an impressive view of all the buildings and the people bustling around the streets.

“Zip it already,” the wind mistress grumbled irritably after putting up with a few lines of his warbling voice; really, it was way too early in the morning to be this cheerful.

“You owe me big time,” Temari mumbled out of the corner of her mouth, fighting the urge to purposely crease the dainty kimono, and then reluctantly forced a tight smile as Lee escorted her into the building.

He was doing a celebratory dance after single-handedly pummeling five foes, when one suddenly rose and rushed toward him; Temari reacted to the movement by hurriedly pulling back her fan and yelling in command, “Get down!”

“If you say no, I will walk 500 laps around the village on my hands,” he announced without any trepidation, and she smothered a snicker to answer, “Fine, but just one, got it?”
