the first thing i thought after reading about this yesterday was that he's played so many "powerful" characters lately that he started believing he really is one. it's shocking to me, i still have the image of him in my head as that dorky, lost guy in velvet goldmine. fame went up his ass and straight to his head. he should chill out and play in some family drama or romantic comedy for a change, the characters he chooses are becoming quite boring. his muscles do most of the acting for him these days :/

yep his characters are pretty one note. its like before you watch a move of his you already know what his performance and character are like, although I thought he was great in Rescue Dawn. He really needs to broaden his range and stop being such a prick method actor! i mean he's not fucking kirk lazarus with FIVE Oscars ok! lmaolmao XD

its like he's the new Batman but when you think of Batman you think of an icon not of Christian Bale and what he brings to that character. He added nothing new to the role and that's why he was majorly upstaged by Heath Ledger. When people talk about The Dark Knight, Batman himself is the least memorable character to them and the memory they have is a negative one, that stupid voice D:

and the villains always get more attention than the good guys xD but i agree, his Batman is the most boring ever, even keaton whom i don't consider batmany at all (harsh, dark, sexy and fit) did a far superior job o_O'
