GOD DAMMIT, WHY DIDN'T WE MANAGE TO WATCH ANYTHING EVANGELION-LIKE THE LAST TIME WE MET?^^ (probably because we were busy watching guys digging holes into prison walls ^^)
Your post makes me really want to see the movie! But I guess I really need to re-watch the series to get back into the story.

But we should try to start a second attempt to watch Evangelion! Are there subs already?^^

Yes, indeed. We were too busy watching prisoners trying to break out and people trying to deal with their superpowers. XD

I'm sure you can watch the movie without ever having seen the original TV-series. I mean, there are definitely new fans out there who have never seen the the TV-series before, right?

I love Sakamoto Maaya so much!! ♥ Haha.

I'm not sure about subs for the new movie. At least not for the second one... But we can watch the original TV-series! I kinda started watching and it's so much fuuuuuuuuun. \:D/

THE FIRST MOVIE CAME OUT IN 2007. The first movie follows the plot from episode 1-6 quiet faithfully, only with soooome differences. It's awesome nonetheless. The fights look epic. And the 6th Angel (the 5th Angel in the original series) really SCARED ME. Hahaha. YOU SHOULD TOTALLY WATCH THE MOVIES.

I'm 100% sure that there are torrents, but as I got mine from emule, I don't know where the torrents can be found. But they're definitely out there somewhere!!
