Thanks to rufftoon, over at Deviant Art, we got a glimpse at our heroes in this atrocity that is "The Last Airbender" movie. WTF people, Katara and Sokka are supposed to be dark skinned, NOT WHITE!!! I guess they'll go with the idea of white people vs dark people again!

Yeah. I heard and therefore am no longer interested. I had no real desire to see this movie in the first place because it was live action. I mean Nick live action? We're just asking for failure. But, then I heard that they made them all white and went WFT srsly!? So, I don't care any more. I mean God forbid they have a non-martial art, super, timewarping awesome, adorably sweet, kickass Heero in there anywhere. You know. Asians, we're bad news. We might pull kung fu on your white asses...

On a side note, the guy who played Jasper in the Twilight movie is actually pretty cute when he isn't doing a blond constipated Einstein impersonation. Those directors shouldn't have put "amber" colored contact lenses in, because he has the most beautiful green eyes I've ever seen.

Exactly and it's sad that people don't get it. Many people at the Avatar LJ community don't support it, but the ones that do say that we're exaggerating things and that we're just wankers. Obviously these people don't know the meaning of discrimination and racism. The failure of this movie is just so bad that I hope it sinks.

I saw pictures of him, and he does have gorgeous eyes. At first I thought they were fake, but once I found out, I was surprised.
