YES! I am soo soo soo happy to see you pick this story up again. I love it! Also your long chapters make my heart happy hahahahaha. I have all these thought about what's going on with Kahlan in the future and who Gwen is and what she may want BUT you're the awesome writer so I'm just gonna let you reveal things in time. Alys is such a great character and that scene in the forest was great. It's understandable that she would miss her mom even though they're right there with her. Please update soon because I'm hooked again. Thanks so much for posting!

I never meant to give up on this story, I just haven't got much time lately :)I'm doing my best and the story will be finished without a doubt ;) Lol, I'm happy that you enjoy my tendency to start writing and then having difficulties to stop, hence the long chapters :P
Everything will be revealed in time, that's for sure :D
I think it's understandable that she misses her home and her mother too; even if the people she knows are with her, it's not quite the same. She knows them but they don't know her as well as she knows them.
I'll update as soon as possible. I'm writing the next chapter whenever I have time and hopefully I'll finish it soon.

Seriously awesome update. I REALLY love this story :)

I can't wait to know who is really Gwen, maybe I can already have some idea ;) Such a sweet moment between Cara, Kahlan and little Alys.
And Raina with Kahlan in the future... fantastic; but where's Cara in that future? She's alive, right?

Oh girl, thank God you're back, i missed this fic. :)

I'm not a very patient person, but i'm willing to wait and see what happenes next, i want to know right now who is Gwen (although i do have a theory), why is she here, why is Kahlan all alone in the future, but i will be good and patient and wait. :D Shame you can't post any spoilers, cause to me it's like watching a favorite tv show and not knowing what's gonna happen next lol.

Cara and Alyss...i love them together sfm. *sigh*
I like that the three of them are happy now cause i have a feeling they won't be together and happy for very long. :( *cries*

I was about to post a little spoiler on the reply to your comment :P But since I change what I write frequently and I change things after shadowsoffense looks over the chapters, I opted to not post something that possibly won't make it to the final version. But, I can tell you that you'll find a lot more about Gwen in the next chapter ;)

Brilliant!!! I love the scenes between Cara and Alys!!! They're adorable! And I love how Cara, Kahlan, and Alys are forming a beautiful family. Is there room for one more? Who is this mysterious Gwen? She's a brunette and an exceptional Mord-Sith? Hmm...Were Cara and Kahlan busier than initially thought in creating and expanding their family? LoL OK, my mind is working overtime, going off on tangents that are most likely incorrect. Needless to say, I can't wait to find out more about Gwen and her part in Cara and Kahlan's story.

Thank you :) Cara and Alys sure are cute together. I don't know if there's room for one more, you'll have to ask them ;) I know as much as you do about Gwen :P But don't worry, you'll find a lot more about her in the next chapter. Actually I planed to have the next update finished by now, but I had to spend most of my weekend picking cherries (or as my aunt likes to say "one cherry for the bag, two cherries for your mouth" :P), so my plan didn't work. But I won't take as long as I did the last time to update.
