*squee* I just adore this not-an-arc. I hadn't read the Arabian Pipe one before, and it's lovely: exotic and sensual. I like to see Quatre show Trowa new things; it's a nice contrast with the more common portrayals of Trowa as the experienced, jaded one and Quatre as the innocent idealist.
I'm so glad that you like the not-an-arc, its fun to write.
I'm happy that I managed to make Arabian Pipe exotic. The ambience was very important to me so I'm glad it worked. And I'm sure Quatre had many, many things to show, just like Trowa. That's what makes them so fun to write.
You definitely know how to write a great AU, that's for sure. I'm always really impressed with how well you keep everyone in character in totally different settings than the original Gundam Wing. They are all so very real, without being stereotypical - Heero bends and cuts class once in a while, Duo is not an idiot, Trowa is rather snarky, and Quatre has a lovely sense of sensuality and humor. They are all fun to read about because you seem to know your characters very well. And another thing: "And as the guy run he starts to eat the cheese, package and everything!" Should be runs. Man, I am annoying - once a beta always a beta I guess *headdesk*.
Corrected. And you are not annoying. Thank you. It helps me that you spot these things that go right pass me.
Thank you! When I write AUs that's the most important thing to me, to keep true to the characters, so it makes me so happy that you think it works. They are really fun to write, so I'm glad you are having fun too. ^_^
Wanna guess what _I_ thought when you mentioned an Arabian pipe? *drags mind out of gutter* It's Anne's fault - hers and Lil's. They've corrupted me. *nods*
My fave out of the three, though, was definitely the middle one - I love the line about Trowa having been certain he sent the text message in the last class, and how Heero would never let him live it down if he found out. *g* Very excellent.
*cuddles you* It sounds like something they would do. They've corrupted me too. *innocent*
*pets Trowa* Latin class can do some damage to the brain. And Heero would tease him forever if he found out Trowa spoke latin outside the classroom, even if it was just one tiny sentence.
I always wanted to take Latin. It seems like such a useful language when you're in literature. That and Old English - but I took a couple courses of that. (Of course, I've forgotten most everything I knew, but I remember enjoying the classes and I still have the books.)
