So the Yuletide tag set is up for public review, and apparently not only is someone burning to read fic about The Postman (the Kevin Costner film, possibly the most beige movie ever made*) some joker nominated the 2011 The Three Musketeers. The airship one, not the even Disney one with Kiefer Sutherland Athos-ing it up. Yeah, that was my face, too ( Read more... )

The Three Musketeers book was my phantom nom! As in, if I had only had one more space, that was so going to go in it. Oh well - all the fandoms and characters I nominated DID get in, so I'm definitely going for it this year as well! What are you going to be requesting?

I was the same way! Narrowing it down to only three nominations forces some hard choices.

I'm requesting the three I nominated: Tombstone, Into The Woods (the Sondheim musical) and Warriors of Virtue (the aforementioned kung fu kangaroo movie; it's a hokey late '90s kid's movie I fell in love with. Mostly for the villains, who are the ones I nominated anyway.)

What I'm offering is still up in the air, though. Tombstone and Human Target, definitely and if the Thrawn Trilogy does make it that goes right on the list, but I'm waiting until the final tag set goes up to pick #4. Captain Britain & MI13 is in, which is really tempting, and the approved Excalibur characters looks like my favorite run. And X-Factor's in there, too!

Yuletide is hard.
