Maximus: best paladin mount ever.

I finally saw Tangled! It was just as cute as everyone said it would be. I actually liked it a lot more than I did The Princess and the Frog (which I also liked! but I also thought it was a very careful movie, if that makes any sense? Like they made sure to hit all the Disney notes point by point. If the whole movie had been as cool and daring as ( Read more... )

Tangled! \o/ It's seriously one of my Disney favs now. It's still just as good, the fifteen watch.

So I finished my outline for my sncross_bigbang and, um...guys, should outlines be 1300 words? I think I'm doing this wrong. Now I'm trying to avoid the mistakes of my Outrun My Gun outline, where I'd write "Dean and Cas haunt Sam as he summons crossroad demons, goes hunting, etc." and that would mutate from one line in the outline to pages and pages and pages in reality, but I'm starting to get worried on just how long this is going to be.(!)

RIGHT? I had the exact same problem with my stupid dc_everafter outline and I'm STILL pushing through it. It's consuming my life, it's all I think about and I'm only 10 of like 40 scenes finished with it. I think I've ended up spending more time on the damn outline then the story. >.< I don't know what I was thinking and furthermore, don't know how you can do several of these monsters a year. O_o

Hope yours gives you less trouble, bb. Happy writing!

I don't know how you people can work with outlines. *shakes head* I've tried it a couple times, and inevitably, using them ruins the tone of whatever fic I'm writing, and I have to fight tooth and nail for every word of the fic itself. I work much better just letting my muse drive the story wherever she wants to, and finding all kinds of fun surprises along the way.

Mostly, I think this is because once I write an outline, Artemis just assumes all the hard work is done and there's no reason for me to continue working on the same story she's already provided all the inspiration for.

*glares at her*

It sounds like your crossover is going to be quite the fic though! :D I am excited for it, because, well, the longer the better IMO. *grins angelically* ... *pets you*

See, I have to know the ending before I write anything or it's just long hours of watching the cursor blink. 90% of the story is already written in my head before I turn on the computer. And just by it being a crossover there are so many characters to wrangle I have to put the scenes down in some kind of order just so I know where everyone is.

(That's going double for the spn_j2_au fic because it's not nearly as plot heavy. I have all these scenes and I don't know where they go yet!

"Elemiah - Angel of Inward Journeys
Traditionally believed to watch over and protect those who travel by water. Guides us to retrieve insights from our subconscious minds."

Well well well, that IS quite a good hint of an interesting plot I'm with you on that !
I'd be very eager to read this fic if you do write it ^^
