Clown fear is a perfectly valid phobia

I disapprove of how often Pokemon Pearl forces me to interact with clowns. Clowns, just wandering around in the wild, giving things to small children. And no one seems to notice. Every time I have to talk to one of these things I half expect the text box to read, "You're a Pokemon trainer! How wonderful! Here, have this item for no apparent

Oh man, someone who hasn't experienced It. In Stephen King's It the monster takes the form of a looming, creepy clown named Pennywise (played by Tim Curry in the movie, to maximize the horror). Early on the story, Pennywise lures a little boy to a sewer drain, drags him in, and kills him, saying, "We all float down here, Georgie! We all float!"

So that's where that comes from. I'd be doubly upset by the game if it had clowns randomly floating around.:)
