Powerful, and the image of Dean praying a half remembered prayer and Cas breathing in time to it was vivid and sucked me in and I think by the end, I was counting my breaths, too.

May I just say that I really enjoy your writing style? It's so... earnest, and visceral; you capture the thrall of certain moments so well. This was a beautiful fic; I think I was holding my breath a bit during it (ironic). Dean's veneer of forced calm was super in-character, and I think it really made the true desperation of the situation even more poignant.

Awesome. :3
