I love this! THIS is the Cas I love, and I didn't realise how much I missed him. I adore Rilke as well, so that quote at the beginning made me bounce around like a child.

"I have traveled to the depths of the Pit and emerged unscathed," he said, his words heavy with power. "I remember the way." He moved to stand before them, his coat swirling around him. "If either of you ever again seek to harm another soul, either in deed or in thought, I will hear the sin in your rotten hearts. When the day comes, I promise you, I will appear before you. And I will throw you into the Pit myself."

Then without looking back he walked back to Dean and Bobby. "We should leave," he said, touching them both, and Bobby heard the sound of wings unfurling.

He realized too late he hadn't asked Castiel to give them back their voices.

Damn! That was so hardcore and awesome! And Bobby's right. SOmetimes, it's easy to take Castiel for granted but I think both he and the witches learned that this is NO Angel you wanna fuck with!

Then Castiel whispered a string of words in Enochian, the strange syllables running into each other in Cas' rasping voice. Dean didn't understand the words but he felt them, a warm rush of energy ( ... )

This is so good. Cas' bamf-ness is epic; I love how it manifests as storms! The witch/demon alliance is creepy and clever and had me on edge just reading it.

Dean caring about the witch's brother in the midst of his torture is perfect, and I really like Cas' subtle showing of humor.

And I love the caring between Dean and Cas.

Really nicely done!
