Although a warning! There's some clear New Showrunner-itis going on with this episode, which I'm hoping will calm down now that the new characters are introduced.
Are there gratuitous love interests? I hate that...
Too soon to tell, really. I'd bet good money that Indira Varma's character hooks up with Chance just in time for it to be revealed that Katherine's alive, but that's not a gratuitous love interest so much as it's inevitable that Chance would fall for someone right before Katherine resurfaces. I've read a comic book in my day, you know?
The other character is practically half the age of the guys, so I'm really hoping love interest isn't where they're going with her.
