Spouse and I went to a wildlife conference last weekend. The lectures covered antibiotics and their appropriate usages for different wounds and ills, care of white-tailed fawns, all things raccoon, and an impromptu off-the-cuff round table talk on bear cubs. Although we don't possess deer or RVS permits (and don't want them,) we do get calls about ( Read more... )

I don't have any shirts with words. But I like yours. And that conference sounds great.

I used to have a lot of commemorative 'we visited such-and-such' shirts but never wore them, so I eventually cut them up and made a quilt out of them. lol. Now my only other wordy shirt is a 'Runs Like a Deere' tee, which has been worn so much, it's nearly thread-bare.

One of my friends gave me a tee that said "I am not obsessive" about twenty times...
I made my family ones that said "National Sarcasm Association: Like we need your support" one Christmas. (I am too cheap to buy them.)
But I really like yours.

LOL. I like both of them! Sometimes the best ones come from friends. And very cool that you made your own.

Someone we know gave spouse a tee with a picture of two squirrels squabbling over an acorn on the front. The caption reads: 'It's all fun and games till someone loses a nut.' Cracks me up every time.

I saw one in a catalogue that almost tempted me. It reads: 'I live in my own little world, but that's okay. Everyone knows me here.' lol.

Hi Terri! I'm finally back on LJ after my YA writing hiatus. I love that shirt! heehee...Such a positive message all around. :-)

How's the writing going for you? I need to get over to your FB and check on you there, too...

Hi Anita! Welcome back! :) I hope all is well with you.

The writing is moving along. I'm just about done with the first draft of my current wip. It's been slow, mainly because I interrupted the process to pursue my family tree :) Many of the older people in my life are dying off and some of the younger ones are in poor health. It's become a race against time for me to do as much as possible while they're still here and can still read and/or contribute to it. Spouse has helped quite a bit. We're just about done with the most grueling part. Getting back to my writing after that will feel like a vacation :)
