Launch: Lexicon of Sublime Truth (LOST)
I just returned from my five year college reunion (more on that later) and it was brought to my attention that I have added a good number of "alyisms" to my friends lexicons over the years. I hadn't realized that I was an instigator of new and ridiculous expressions before, but I am very flattered and a bit perplexed (but then again, I think I am always a bit perplexed).
In light of this discovery, I believe that it is time for me to begin documenting these words and expressions. So with much further ado and great trumpeting huzzahs, I present to you, my
Lexion of Sublime Truth
It shall henceforth be known as LOST and I will try to add to it regularly. I will present the word/phrase, pronunciation key (when necessary), meaning, and known origins. I will use the word/phrase in sentence and I will also try to include any amusing stories.
