[The first sign that this isn't the real Medicine Seller? He's dressed in an utterly unremarkable fashion. The outer layer of his kimono is plain brown, practical and unornamented. His obi is narrower than usual, in a dark, unremarkable shade of blue, one that matches his new headscarf. He has, however, failed to make the bright red markings on his face look more normal, or the fact that he's a pale-skinned blond with blue eyes, pointy ears, purple lips and fingernails, and fangs wearing old-school Japanese clothing. Which is not to say that he hasn't tried, he's just given up.]
I've heard the other side is having an event soon... I hope it will be fun to watch! And I hope it isn't too bad... Everyone seemed to be suffering a lot when I appeared, and it would be nice if they could have a while to relax.

He is utterly normal, aside from his appearance and a decided dorky, overly-excitable streak. Also, he's highly empathetic, wears his heart completely on his sleeve, and has no interest whatsoever in all of this... supernatural nonsense!]
