Santana thinks the mirror world is pretty crappy, and she doesn't know if she wants to hang around. But this is for the greater good, after all. And duh, of course she doesn't mean the rebellion. No, the greater good is to get back her damn bracelet.

Which would be why she is following Kurt's ridiculous mirror-person around, arms crossed and heaving dramatic sighs the linger they walk.

"I'm starting to think this is a trick, Magnum."

It's not there.

"Okay, Cleopatra, you better--" Wait. What is that red thing glittering just there beyond Mellenkurt's stupid head? On the topmost shelf, pushed back against the wall, so his short ass couldn't reach... Could that be it?

She grabs his arm and drags him back to the shelves.

"Pick me up."

Now, as manly as he likes to act...Mellenkurt's not actually a very strong guy. He's not entirely sure he can pick her up, or at least lift her up high enough to see on the shelf. So instead, he bends down a little and links his fingers together to make a platform out of his hands.

"Step up," he says. "C'mon, I'll give you a lift."

He's pretty sure this will work without him collapsing. Maybe. ...Hopefully.

See, this would be where his super girly and gay other self would come in handy with his Cheerios training. Think about that, Mellenkurt.

Anyway.

This is more like what she was expecting anyway, so she just indeed steps up, her hand on his shoulder for balance.

"Higher! God, you'd think since you're so determined to be a man, you'd work out a little."

Yeah, well, cheerleading's for girls, obviously, so he doesn't care. He's just going to keep telling himself that the other Kurt would probably have trouble lifting her too, even though deep down he probably know it's not true. With a little (...a lot) more effort, Mellenkurt hoists her up another six inches or so.

"I'm doin' the best I can! Now hurry the hell up!"

The best he can isn't that great though, given the fact that he's wobbling a little and having a difficult time both holding her up and growling at her for taking so long at the same time. Is it up there or not?! He might die here!

In order to make it easier (or harder, whatever) on him, she bends a leg to put her knee on his shoulder, basically climbing him a little as she grips the shelf to pull herself up.

You're most welcome for the up-close-and-personal view, Mellenkurt.

"Aha! Yes yes yes!" She grabs her beautiful, wonderful bracelet and drops back effortlessly to the ground, brandishing it like a trophy.

WOAH HELLO THERE.

He kind of stammers unintelligibly, like he's never seen a girl there that close before. ...Which, when considering his girlfriend, is probably a fair assumption.

When she jumps down, he stumbles back a bit. It doesn't take long for him to recover though, and he stares at the bracelet. He's...not sure how much he should say since he's the one who took it in the first place, so he just rubs at the back of his neck and looks a little sheepish.

"Hey, awesome! I'm glad it was up there," he finally says with an awkward smile. It's probably the most honest thing he can say about it at this point.

As if she even noticed any stammering.

She looks smug, then please, then there's a flash of something like sadness in her eyes as she looks at the jewelry. But never mind that. She's fine.

And now she's hopping back onto the bed.

"Totally taking advantage of this pleasure palace for a little longer."

For a second, he sort of feels bad for taking it in the first place. But then he remembers her trying to get him to kiss a dude, and then later she punched him in the face, so he doesn't feel that bad. Besides, she's got it now, so that's all that matters, right?

"...Is it really that comfy?" It just looks like a regular bed, as far as he's concerned. He doesn't really know the difference between silk and Egyptian cotton and anything else. Then again, he's never bothered to learn.

He moves around to the other side and sits down himself, since she did say "we" would be taking a turn on the bed. Before she can protest, he's laying down because oh my god it really is that comfy. It feels like he's sinking into a cloud.

And cue the smug look as she watches him be completely overcome by the awesome.

"Told you." She snuggles into the pillows again and gives a content sigh. Okay, so it sounds a little more scandalous than a content sigh. Same thing. "Wonder if I could steal this, too."

"No way; it's too big."

He grabs a pillow before Santana can take all of them for herself, and curls right up into it. His hat and hair are a little messed up from all the snuggling (that he will never, ever call snuggling), but he doesn't move to fix it or anything.

"No wonder she's a shitty queen," he adds. "She prolly just hangs out in bed all day."

And really, he can't blame her for it. He's never been more comfortable in his life.

"Doing what?" she asks in a suggestive tone. Because yes, she clearly has a pretty one-track mind.

Also, she's trying to determine if she can at least smuggle a pillow to the other side.

"Oh, nothin'. Y'know..." Then he adds, with an impish grin, "Just screwin' 'round."

And no, no she can't. She has enough pillows, as far as Mellenkurt's concerned. He is guarding his with his life.

Santana snickers, then nudges his leg with her foot.

"You know, you're way less annoying now that I gots my bling back where it's supposed to be."

"Yeah?" he says, nudging back. "Well, you're not so bad yourself. Y'know, when you're not punchin' me or threatenin' t'hurt me."

He doesn't sound too upset about it though - not when he's this cozy. This is pretty nice.

"Please. That's totally my charm." She pauses. "That, and..."

Tada! She is now straddling his hips, her whole demeanor nonchalant as if she didn't move.

"...my friendliness."
