Surprise with need2speed

It had taken a week and a lot of really, really tricky sneaking around to get this pulled off, but Michael had to admit, he was quite proud of what was before him. Mia came back from arrow practice and training at six thirty and had time for a quick shower and a change before she was supposed to meet Michael for bad reality television and popcorn. She felt a little overdressed for t.v. in the soft, egg-shell colored sundress Chloe had bought her on their last shopping trip, but for some reason she couldn't find anything else except that, her gym clothes, and her Speedy costume in her closet.

She figured she'd explain it away as a laundry day necessity to Mike if he dared to smirk at her.

With hair still a little damp but neatly combed, Mia boarded the elevator in her bare feet and tapped her fingernails against her thighs as she waited for it to deposit her on the third floor. When the doors slid open, she smiled and then raised her eyebrow at the formal suit Michael was sporting.

"Was it laundry day for you too?"

Michael turned at the sound of her voice and grinned at what she was wearing. He'd have to remember to thank whoever made sure the dress was the only thing she could find. He stepped forward with a shrug. "We'll go with it being laundry day."

When he saw her without shoes, he kicked his own off along with his socks and pushed them to the side. It'd be more comfortable this way anyway. He offered her his arm. "Ready for...bad reality tv?"

She laughed and took the arm he offered, feeling ridiculous but in a nice way. They probably looked like they were headed to prom, not to the couch for a round of The Bachelorette.

"Sure, but I'm not going to be responsible if you get popcorn butter on your suit," she teased.

"I'm magic and won't get butter on my suit," he smirked and opened the door, leading her into the room and falling quiet to watch her reaction.
