have honestly not had much time to go over the votes again on the presents theme as i want to or write gargantuan headcanon for anna and laura but just popped here on my break to let you know the headcanon votes are on the way :3 [tonight when i am alone in my chambers. SRSLY HELP ME. I CAN'T STOP TALKING LIKE THAT IRL NOW.]

Just remember the wishlist apps don't have a deadline, the presents theme does.

I'm going to try to get around to voting on apps / adding votes to the presents apps / throwing at least ONE anniversary ball app up asap, like, in the next day or two. Atm Xmas kind of snuck up on me and there was this this terrifying moment of HOLY SHIT ITS THAT SOON D: D: D: and that's including the fact that being on the Armenian calendar gives me, like, a week and a half more time for Xmas than those not following our stupid archaic calendar. I seriously have been SO SO SO BUSY, and the worst part is I FEEL LIKE I HAVENT REALLY GOT ANYTHING DONE DESPITE IT ALL ( ... )

Yeah, no one is DEFINITELY not allowed to go "GIVE ME THIS" on the presents theme because like you said, it's all about surprise etc., BUT YES, plotting behind a person's back is OBVIOUSLY allowed! In fact I actually thought about it when I originally posted the theme and was planning on making a post about it at some point but obviously forgot and there is no point doing that now.

But yeah. It fits the whole Christmas giving thing anyway so YES it is allowed, so long as the person the votes are for has no idea what is going on behind their back. DO THIS PEOPLE, DO THIS.
