I am sorry. I didn't intend it as a slight at all. Just a phrase that came out as a resut of something that is more my issue than anything else.

This was one of my favorite parts:

Gabriel was an Archangel; he had no intention of falling. He had no desire to be free, no desire to disobey, only to be impartial.

I like it because it doesn't assume that Gabriel fell or rebelled. I never thought he did. No,he only chose to leave to avoid a conflict.

I'm glad you liked that sentence, it really was bothering me for some reason. I can't imagine anyone thinking that Gabriel fell, though I've just recently caught up so I haven't read enough fic yet to see differently if that's the case.

So lovely and sad. I would've like to see Anna and Gabriel like this because there's no way he didn't know it when she fell. This makes for a beautiful backstory for both of them.
