Van is... [He trails off. That was definitely not something Ion was expecting to hear today. Naturally his first thought is the same as Dist's: what time period was he from? What were they to expect from him? And if Asch said he wasn't an immediate threat, then...]

[Of course, that's when he realizes Tear is still included in this filter. He adds on an extra 20% filter to the rest of this reply from her though probably not until after Asch starts talking to her for the sake of timelines:]

Van isn't the type to be up-front about his plans. [Unfortunately. He'd like to know what Van's going to do as much as the rest of them - if not more, since he's pretty certain that any plans will involve him - but it's too early to know for sure.] It's likely that he'll stay close, though.
