Really, Ubisoft Really?

I ask because I'm a die-hard fan of the AC franchise. I've loved it since AC1 - it was the first game I got for my shiny new PS3, and it will be my first purchase for my shiny new PS4 when I have enough money saved up for it. But really, I think if this is your attitude, we need to talk about the women in your AC games.

The last gasp of the Wii and it goes out with a BANG. The game was great.

First the obvious: the story. The game, in effect, tells the origin of the Legend of Zelda franchise, the story of the FIRST Link and Zelda, and how they fight The Imprisoned and are cursed to do so for all eternity. Little things are different, like the Master Sword isn't yet ( Read more... )

We should probably note that we grew up on mysteries. We would watch Murder, She Wrote every night before going to bed and the random episode of Matlock in the afternoon when coming home from school; the whole family watched Poirot movies together on the English Mystery program whose name I can't think of right now, and watched all the crime dramas ( Read more... )

Let's ignore the fact that we're huge fans of the franchise. Let's ignore the fanfics, fanart, and overall obssession we have for the game. Even when we look at the game and without those overpowering factors, this game is fun.

... I'm not sure what to say about Infamous. We heard a lot of great things about this game and so that's why we opted to try it. The premise is relatively simple: guy gets electric superpowers and is trapped on an island city. He does things to gain territory of the city and clear it of enemies, moves through conspiratorial plot, gets more powers ( Read more... )
