Arbetsprover Konstfack 2010

Mar 14, 2010 23:00

Remember when I did this last year too? Yea, I tried this year as well. I really would like to get into this college.

I like how even I can tell that I have improved since last year. My application looks so much more professional now (though that is also partly because I could print on A3 paper at school).

Thanks, Amy! :D

Really glad you liked the bedroom evolution, it took me so long to finish, hahaha. It's also a very personal piece of work.

YAY you finished the mermaid illustration!!! It looks SO BEAUTIFUL! I knew it was going to be seeing it worked in progress, but it's just fantastic ahhh~

That book cover is really cool! :D I like the texture in the background and the character is well drawn, you can definitely tell he's asian~ Love all the hands reaching for the shadow too!

Also, I could recognize your bedroom right away in those photos! Augh you're awesome at perspective! I find it soooo difficult! And I love all the different years of Mirre~! <3 Hehehee, that amused me to no end! YAY ART POST!

THanks for posting all of these! :D

Aww, thank you~! It was fun to work with that size... who knows, I might do more big paintings like that.

Hehe, glad you liked the book cover. And the guy is a little inspired by Aaron Yoo. <3

Oh you could?! :D Haha, that is awesome! And no, I'm not really good at perspective ^_^; I stood in my room in that angle and drew it, then corrected perspective errors in my sketch. I had the teacher from our perspectve workshop take a look at it as well.
Drawing the various versions of me was both fun and excruciating LOL. It's almost like a version of the time-warp meme that everyone have been doing at DA though. :)

Wow wow WOW!

These are amazing!! I was missing your updates, but I'm SO pleased to see all the work that went into this, congrats! :D

I like how you snuck the dragon painting into the last panel of the bedroom de-evolution. The entire booklet is just wonderful. This is such a strong portfolio, and I agree- such progress since last year. (And last year's portfolio was really strong, too!)
