Aspire One's do indeed rock (typing this on mine now). I haven't quite taken to having it with me always, but when I do barely notice it adding anything to the weight of my bag which is very cool.

When that kilo or so is combined with all the other bits and bobs I need at uni my usual messenger-style or shoulder bags tend to get a bit heavy, so I mostly use backpacks again. Less pretty, but better for the back, anyway.
I might have to get a second battery, though, some rooms still don't have power outlets and some profs don't notice when class is supposed to be over.
