I can't get my jewellery LJ to post the pictures, annoyingly, but the exact same pictures from photobucket post just fine here, so here is where the shiny is!
There won't be an end date as such to this and I'll just edit the post to mark something as sold when (and if!) it is. I will hold items and am open to negotiations on time to pay, but am up against a time limit myself. Payment from outside the UK should be by Paypal and this is also preferred in the UK, but if that's a problem, cheque or postal order is ok. If you're interested in a piece, email me at jen (at) yellowspoon (dot) co (dot) uk. I'd also appreciate a comment on the post as to which piece you're interested in, in case my email programme puts your email in spam, though of course not with your email address. But if you want to keep your interest private, that's fine too.
Prices don't include postage, which is £5 Special Delivery, or £2 normal First Class post in the UK and £3 anywhere else in the world by airmail. First Class UK post and airmail are not insured, if you want your jewellery insured as airmail, I'll need to find out the cost and let you know.
Finally, pendants can be supplied on a leather cord or simple velvet ribbon without extra charge, but if you would like a chain, the cost will be an extra £5 and will take another week to dispatch as I will need to order it in.
Alright then, here we go.
First up is a simple beaten silver bangle with tapered ends. It measures 6cm internally at its widest point. This is pretty and simple.
£35. 1 available.
Sakura means 'cherry blossom' in Japanese. This pendant is delicate-looking yet also nice and weighty, measuring 7cm from jump ring to the tip of the twig. Each of the four blossoms has a centre of recycled 9ct gold. The twig they sit on is cast from a real oak twig.
SOLD. (£80. 1 available.)
Sakura ring.I have this ring on at the moment and it's my current favourite. It's a cast oak twig with a tiny and delicate blossom with a 9ct recycled gold centre. You will receive a ring very similar to this as I will need to make it to fit, so I will need your ring size - in UK or US, either is fifne - when ordering. This ring will be shipped a week after ordering.
£45. Available to order. This can also be ordered without the blossom, price £30.
This is the beaten silver bangle with the addition of two ammonite terminals cast from originals several million years old.
£45. 1 available.
Elvish pendant. I love this, it's so very pretty on, delicate and elegant. With thanks to Alan Lee for the inspiration, as well as the beautiful beech trees at Avebury stone circle.
£60. 1 available. Also available to order with 7 days from ordering and payment to postage.
My popular oak twig bangle. This is made from oak twigs cast in silver and is delicate and yet strong. It can be adjusted, carefully.
£45. 2 available. 7 days from ordering to postage.
Arrowhead pendant. I wear mine a lot. This is cast from a Neolithic flint arrowhead around four thousand years old. It's simple and unfussy and can be worn everyday or with something posh!
£25. 4 available.
This is cast from an ammonite several million years old. Timeless and lovely.
£25. 5 available.
Sea anemone pendant. This piece has lots of movement, the silver wires moving freely on their circle.
SOLD (1 available. £65.)
And last but by no means least, my favourite of all the pieces I've ever made. This cuff has an internal diameter of 6cm and is 2.7cm wide. The surface is achieved by repeatedly heating the silver until the surface forms ripples and ridges and the pattern is taken from a 4th/3rd BCE bronze bracelet found in Newnham Croft, Cambridgeshire and is of the "La Tene" style. The design is sawn out and then fused to the background silver which is achieved by heating both pieces of silver to almost melting point, at which point the two surfaces join. This is a weighty, show-stopping piece (and I'm honestly not really expecting to sell it!!)
£160. 1 available.
As a final little extra, I sent an acorn to be cast in silver and they're due at the end of this week. I'll be offering them as simple little pendants for £25. They'll be solid little pieces and I can't wait for mine! There will be 5 available for sale.
