10th Wedding Anniversary

Ten years ago today, on an unseasonably warm Ohio Sunday, I married Rebecca. (We were, at the time, refusing to call it a wedding. It was a "service of union." But it was a wedding.)

Forgive me all of you who read both Rebecca's journal and mine (which is probably a large percentage of you), but I couldn't really come up with much better to say

I've been pondering this, as my 10th anniversary approaches in a year. (04/26/1998 was the date of my handfasting with M.)

Would you share stories of your triad ceremony as well. We're in the beginning stages of planning one of those.

Patrick and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year as well. It's a beautiful thing, and allowed us to grow up together in many many ways. I'm not sure anyone really knows what they're doing when they marry, or when they have children, or when we do pretty much anything really life altering.

I remember that day well. I didn't specifically remember that quote,but i'm glad that you re-printed it. It's great, and I'm probably (certainly?!) reading it now with a different set opf referents in mind than I was then.
