I get that way sometimes at work. Usually I stop being sleepy when work is done. :P

Hmm. I am lucky enough to rarely feel sleepy in social encounters. I just collapse whenever I get home. =/
(I did fall asleep over some TV shows at ormurinn's place, though)

Yeah, I ended up going to the thingy. It was fun, so I forgot I was sleepy for a while.
I think my reasoning for going was something along the lines of "I can sleep when I'm dead, but my friends won't always be around."
