I guess I should update everyone on my current status.

So I arrived in Bolton yesterday. My room is a complete mess. I'm intending to turn it into a liveable place before the day is over. So far I quite approve of it. It's mostly like my old room, but it has a small chest of drawers next to the bed (more room for random stuff FTW!), the bookshelf ( Read more... )

Also, if you and Mika end up getting married and having kids, your kids are going to have a wonderful time tormenting their teachers with how to pronounce their last name! :D

Speaking of kids' names, funnily enough Mika told me that he'd always wanted to name his daughter Vala. It's not really a Finnish name, but it means oath. He was surprised and excited when I told him that in Iceland Vala is, in fact, a common name. Then he said that he liked the combination Lilja Vala, and I told him that, yes, Lilja is an Icelandic name as well. He was so delighted at how the name works in both languages that he decided that now we have to get married. :D
