I haven't found The Murder of Roger Ackroyd in any library or bookshop, so I had to download it as an e-book. Reading long texts on a screen isn't my favourite thing to do, but I don't really have a choice.

For future reference, I suggest amazon.co.uk. Cheaper than most bookshops, better selection, and gets mailed to you!

I have to finish the book for next Wednesday, so I didn't have time to order it.
It's probably a good thing to start looking for the other books on my reading list(s) in advance.

I should probably add that while surprise packages are a very sweet idea, they are not very practical, since I have to pick up parcels from the warden's office, and obviously I'm not going to do that unless I expect one. So if anyone wants to send me a package of any kind that is too big for the mailbox, you should probably tell me about it beforehand. On second thought, even if it's just a letter, you might want to tell me about it beforehand, so I can hoard the mailkey early enough. *glares at evil flatmates*
