I am officially sick of ignoramuses pronouncing the word "Emu" as if it were spelled "Emoo."  Did these morons forget when their kindergarten teacher told them that "long vowels say their name"?  The word is spelled E M U...yes, that last letter is a long U.  Not an OO, but a U.  LONG.  That means it says its name.  Its name is U (pronounced YOU)
