Yeah, see, I agree. In the last two years I've heard (read) him say a few different times that he is sticking to his plan 100%. Don't believe you, Kripke ( ... )

EXACTLY. It's pretty obvious that the guys don't want to go forward, and I'm terrified that Gamble is going to get Kripke's job, and if she's in charge...

I do have to believe that he has some idea of what he's doing (overarching plan, as you said). Sam going evil has been a theme (and concern) since the beginning of season two. So I guess at least that's on track, though I'm choosing not to believe that the details are the same as originally planned. That's one of those questions I think I don't want to hear the answer to, in case I'm wrong. :P
