Until about six hours ago, I was absolutely sure that I was prepared to meet any kind of paranormal anomaly. Seriously, be it creature, spirit, hell, maybe even a demon: bring it on. I've done so much research about this stuff, and I know how to protect myself (or at least what several different cultures say will do the trick). I've even gone on a

I've always been fascinated by the supernatural, too. So by default I read every last word of this post with an almost heightened sense of interest but...definitely still gave me goosebumps.
I have seen some really creepy, fucked up stuff in my short lifetime that I am 99.9% sure had to do with a spirit(s) but of course it was never anything that I could prove so I tend not to talk about it. And I would have to agree with you that people who don't believe in the paranormal don't believe in it for a reason; they're not open to that incoming stimuli and therefore will never encounter anything to make them think otherwise. I've also experienced quite a bit of other stuff aside from the things in this post; I'm not sure if I've always been "open" to it, or if that was something that developed later on. I think for me it really did develop later on. I'm pretty sure I've always believed in ghosts and things of the supernatural variety but I don't think I believed it with any kind of real forthcoming vulnerability. I believed but I was young and being haunted wasn't even a blip on my radar. And I ( ... )

I'll make a really quick post tonight, now that I'm thinking about it.
Regarding...this stuff:
Um, ha, a lot has happened since this post. It's been a while. Wow. Um, I might have to make a follow-up post at some point and detail it all out. Unfortunately, I'm going to sound completely insane ( ... )

You remember correctly about the EVP I captured, and I am absolutely convinced that it was, indeed, a man's voice. I've rationalized the other sounds, but there's no other explanation for the voice.
