Konbanwa, minnasan, I hope everyone out there had a wonderful 4th of July if you celebrate it! It was a very busy work day for me today but everyone was really nice. I still got to see my nephews and as a treat, my 'rents took me out for dinner tonight! I see the throat specialist tomorrow and hopefully he can answer why I keep losing my voice

I first got into the Lolita style because of Rozen Maiden and BJD. I never wore any though, only made flats of the outfits. Your outfits are really cute though. ^^ It's nice that you still have connections to your roots in Lolita.

It's strange for me to see where Lolita has come since I am a bit of a "veteran" without wanting to sound egotistical. I remember feeling very lonely because I was the only person where I lived who listened to Jrock and obsessed over the clothing. Thanks heavens that my grandmother liked the style so I had someone to talk too!
I'm happy to still have my connection to Lolita and I'm so happy that the younger up and coming girls have many more options than I did. It's so exciting for them!

I don't think one ever grows out of Lolita, I just think we evolve, ne? (Though recently Kera magazine is alot more Oshare and Fairy Kei than Lolita any more!)
