The end of the LJ road

Sep 08, 2007 23:35

For a variety of reasons, I no longer post to LiveJournal. I now have a WordPress blog, with a section devoted to books, if you wish to follow me. If not, au revoir.

WordPress has the prettiest templates! I switch about once a week; it's so easy.

Anyway, I post most over here than anywhere else, but my book blog is at WordPress. I need to update my sticky post over at my other LJ.

I've just about given up reading LJ completely, but I'm slowly adding my friends' LJs as RSS feeds. The bad thing is I can't read privated posts, but I guess that's the way it has to be, until someone releases a better aggregator.

You take care. And thank you!

That's for PCs, and I'm a die-hard Mac head. However, I'm trying out NetNewsWire, and it's pretty cool. Instead of reading through a browser, with one window for LJ and another for IJ, you read everything through NNW. If you're interested, I'll let you know how it works out.

For the book blog, it's definitely instead of. For my other LJ, I'm still slowly moving house, but I mostly post here.

I'm slowly turning my friends' LJs into RSS feeds so I can keep track of folks like you. Don't want to lose anyone!

I'm going to keep a note of this, at the least, and follow you there when I can. Till then, have a grand time!
