Tried to avoid following Fallen London people on Twitter who weren't using a dedicated account for the game, as I don't know if I'd end up accidentally spamming them.

This is what comes of signing up for a Twitter account specifically for a game, without prior knowledge of how to use Twitter.

I'm doing that too- it's like, anyone with a username that doesn't sound Victorian, and a location that isn't Fallen London, I try not to bother. After all, it's the only thing I use Twitter for.

Oh hey! :D Yes, I remember you; it hasn't been that long, even if I usually have have a terrible memory for names. XD

Do you know if it's possible to search for people on Twitter by location? I'm always kind of shy about adding/following/whatever complete strangers on social sites, but I think it's somewhat encouraged here.

I.. am not sure on the searching-people thing, but, yeah, like you say, it's encouraged. I suggest to take advantage of it, it's the only time when stalking is legal and even smiled upon, :D.
